INTRODUCTION
Promax Builders Limited is a building and civil engineering firm based in Nairobi. The company was founded in 2006 and was incorporated in May 2012, it undertakes various aspects of Building and Civil engineering construction as is illustrated below. The founders have over 15 years experience in building construction industry in Kenya and East African region. The company strives to deliver the highest quality work within set time schedules and stipulated budgets. Our scope of work includes the following areas:-
OFFICE INTERIORS
Promax Builders undertakes fabrication and installation of office interiors which include among others:-

• Aluminium frame with laminated boards and glass partitions
• Gypsum based reception and boardroom bulkheads
• Drywall and fireproof gypsum partitioning systems
• Block board and chipboard partitions on timbers framing
• Suspended acoustic ceilings
• Bank teller counters in granite and marble with glass panels on Aluminium frames
• Floor finishes-Carpeting, ceramic, granite, porcelain, PVC tile floors etc

RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENTS
We undertake the construction of various types of residential developments such as:-

FLATS AND COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENTS
We also undertake the construction of multi-storey residential flats, ranging from One, Two, Three or Four bedroom flats and Studios. Our team of experienced technical staff and artisans work under close supervision professionals to ensure that the projects are structurally sound and adhere to the highest standards of workmanship. We also ensure that our projects are completed on schedule and within the stipulated budgets to ensure our valued clients get value for their money and maximum returns on their investments.

FLOORING
Flooring finishes depend on the end use of the floor. Different uses require different types of flooring finishes. The main types of interior floors are:-

1. Residential - which include ceramic tiles, carpets, parquet, p.v.c, marble and granite among others,
2. Public areas - which include among others, marble and granite, terrazzo, granito tiles, ceramic tiles
3. Industrial floors -which include expose floors, terrazzo etc.

Promax Builders installs all the above listed floor types. At times the finish may require special floor preparation like hacking existing floor first or re-screeding before laying the new floor.
PARKING AND DRIVEWAYS
Promax Builders undertakes the construction of various types of driveways depending on the client’s budget and specifications. The costs for either differ but the most critical determining factor is the soil type of the area. e.g. a driveway on red soil is cheaper than on black cotton soils. There are various types of road finishes commonly used for construction in Kenya and East Africa in general:

• Tarmac
• Murram
• Concrete block paving-Light grade concrete blocks for pedestrian/ cyclists paving, Medium grade concrete paving blocks for private driveways or Heavy grade concrete paving blocks-for roads with heavy stations, bus and truck parking and main roads
